Would recommend for a swift stopover
Comfortable room, convenient amenities, the kitchen was perfect for preparing breakfast and was complemented by a lovely outdoor swimming pool where I could relax during my stay. The bus connections right outside made exploring the area super easy.
Can’t think of anything without adding further information.

Room decor shows signs of wear and could use a face-lift to feel more modern, which is surprising given the setting. Breakfast options were plentiful but didn't quite hit the mark quality-wise, leaving much to be desired. A noticeable downside is the noise disturbances from fellow guests, and it can be a struggle when large groups make their presence felt. Plus, slow check-in processes seem to be a recurring theme, which can dampen the start of your stay. Adding to the mix, extra fees for kitchen appliances and a few cleanliness issues, particularly on balconies, might make you rethink that second cup of coffee outdoors. You've got to weigh the good views against these inconveniences.

It was just a commendable fit for a short interlude in Funchal with great value-to-price ratio. The staff were friendly and accommodating, which made things easier. Avoid leaving food unattended outside during breakfast to dodge pesky pigeons.

Family with children enjoyable experience
The staff was really welcoming and even helped us find some great local markets nearby. The view from our room was incredible, it felt like we were living in a postcard of the ocean.
It wasn't exactly budget-friendly but still reasonable for what we got.

Had a great time with friends at this hotel! The location was perfect for exploring the local area. We enjoyed the Flower Festival and even took a mountain bike ride along the scenic trails. The restaurant and pool bar had delicious food, and everything was clean and tidy. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend for a group getaway!
The only drawback was the noise from fellow guests at times, which could disrupt the peace during our downtime.

I stayed in a sea view studio on the 11th floor and it was amazing! The room was big, bright, and spotless, with a huge balcony to soak in the stunning ocean view. They had a nice kitchen area too, perfect for light meals. The bed was comfortable, and linen was changed frequently. It felt great to have such a clean and welcoming space to come back to after exploring. The only downside was the pool was a bit cool. otherwise, everything else was spot on!
